We’ve become a highly segregated fandom, and that’s not a good thing at all.

My apologies, guys! It’s actually surprisingly difficult to illustrate my point without referencing the subcategories with labels (which is actually against my ways). I don’t mean to use them ;n;

The label brony became associated to the “bad” side of the fandom, because the most vocal of these people called themselves as such while invading other 4chan threads or while bashing other fandoms. This in return caused people from outside the fandom to associate the term Brony with these kinds of people, People who are rude asshats. That in turn made the definition of the word brony into people who are rude asshats who like pones…. ergo the people who are now associated with the term brony (i.e. rude asshats), ruined the term for everyone else by BEING rude asshats and calling themselves bronies. This is kind of rude for the innocent fans who like to call themselves as such because now people will think that THEY are rude asshats.

I’ve been saying the same shit since the fucking beginning, BUT OH CAUSE IT’S 0r0, HE’S CLEARLY JUST INSANE

fuck you all lol

Here. Plot it out on this chart below. It’s a simple four-square chart: put a bullet where you think each and every group coincides. The distance from the axis determines how strongly that group falls into the subgroups — the labels are the axis themselves, not the squares.

<ZarroTsu> So wow I just had like the stupidest ‘dad-is-king-of-the-house’ talk-down ever

<ZarroTsu> and that’s saying something considering my dad is like a bad father you’d see in a shitty sitcom

<ZarroTsu> so we had Chinese food for dinner, and afterward I’m cleaning everything up and shoving it in the fridge and am about to take away the now-filled-with-garbage paper bag on the table. My dad sees me leaving with this garbage and tosses me the two remaining cookies and says ‘here’

<ZarroTsu> now obviously this means he wanted them thrown out

<ZarroTsu> so I decided to just crush them in my hand since I didn’t really want one, and he knew this, and I’d only guess he didn’t want one. They were going in the garbage anyway, so whatever.

<ZarroTsu> As soon as I’m about to, he sees this and goes ‘what are you doing? I want one of those!’ and so I toss one back to him and just put the other in the garbage (note: neither cookie is crushed)

<ZarroTsu> then he goes ‘what, you don’t want one?’ (Despite my claiming out loud all of 2 minutes prior that I didn’t want one), and says ‘then don’t throw it out, what are you fucking 12?’

<ZarroTsu> so I toss it on the counter and say ‘jesus fuck it’s a fucking cookie’

<ZarroTsu> and he says, and I quote, ‘Maybe you’ll figure it out when you’re older’

<ZarroTsu> PLACING ALL BETS WHOEVER FIGURES THIS SHIT OUT FIRST WINS

Hi Tumblr staff,

Perhaps a first amendment lawsuit will help you reconsider? Just a theory.

Reconsider what? That shitty chain-post that is obviously fake? I thought you were smarter than that.

Which is why I’m stating the obvious instead of re-blogging blindly. Although supposedly now people are saying it’s a CISPA-related incident, which just opens up a whole ‘nother world of stupid shit.

But more importantly, it’s better to assume something’s true and bolster knowledge of the subject than assume something’s false and prevent knowledge from spreading.

I was playing Sonic 06 a while ago (don’t ask why), and Tails just sort of died and wouldn’t get back up…

Tails came to the stunning realization that he was in Sonic 06, and had a heart attack. Unfortunately any surgeons that could help him have been known to show up at the wrong hospital without their tools, so really, he was a lost cause.

RE: Poohbear meme

Someone better fucking use the final drill breaker scene from Lagann Hen in their overlay gifs. Pooh is Super-TTGL, and Robin’s ball is the Anti-spirals.

MAKE THIS SHIT HAPPEN.

Anonymous asked: Can I see some of the games you've made?

“Games I’ve made” are usually unfinished and/or unreleased. This is because, unlike many people, I know the difference between crap and not, even in my own works. And even that which isn’t crap, I intend to polish to perfection before so much as informed release.

My history of design range from mods to redesigns of other people’s works, of which I’ve either given up out of frustration or lack of constructive support. My closest to a complete game would be a Cave Story mod called “Eternal Chaos”, but looking back on it, it is a horrific mess that I’m glad to have given up on, even if it were, and still is, one of the best mods of Cave Story. Other crap I’ve modded include Astonia 2, which nobody cared to play due to poorly aged graphics, and SRB2kart, a mod still on-going to turn Doom 2 into a kart racing game (now that you mention it, it is weird as fuck).

But if you’re asking as a means to provoke me into someone incredible for the amount of wrath I put forth, I’d hate to disappoint you, but it doesn’t work that way.

You know what? I wanted to give 505 Games a chance to not be retarded as fuck. I could stand the non-informative interview and the incredibly vague answers they constantly provide on the console port they were working on. But this? This takes the cake.
Fuck you 505 Games.
EDIT: Adding on to why this angers me…

I find the concept of locking a mode of multiplayer to a certain resolution absolutely stupid. If something like CoD4 or, hell, even Halo could manage functioning four-player splitscreen on an old television, then why can’t Terraria? I found it stupid when Minecraft 360 decided to go that route too, so it’s not a surprise I found this to be stupid, especially considering Terraria’s HUD is far more minimal than most games that could possibly demand using a HD television.

You know, if I were porting Terraria to consoles, I’d at least have the decency to remake the graphics in a higher quality. Because you know, Terraria is a game that can run in a 320x240 window at its intended sprite resolution without any loss — as a console game, even older televisions have a resolution of, presumably, at least 640x480, meaning splitting this up into a 4x4 local grid of players is entirely feasible, without losing a damn thing.
So on, say, some crazy 3200x2400 HD TV (Which is probably not even a thing with how virus-spread widescreens are, but let’s assume), you could seriously buff Terraria’s graphics up to 5 times the scale and make it somewhat WORTH it to buy a console game, and there would be no loss of splitting it to quarters. Hell, this would make it make a lot more sense than an HD TV requirement in general.
So from what I can assess by this 505Games post, they are quite literally keeping the sprites at the 2x size in-file to take up space in their download, and because of this, this specifically, this horrific blunder Redigit performed manually because he didn’t know XNA has a zoom function in its draw.start command, you cannot play this game on an older TV.
I know I’ve called Redigit a moron before, but this is the sort of blunder that you can half-ignore, because it isn’t hurting anything except drive space, and we’re all well aware Redigit is a toddler when it comes to XNA code. But this officially seals the perception: 505Games are also idiots who would attempt to use a screwdriver on a lightbulb, because they took the term literally.
You FAIL, 505. Yours is a workload with no reward, and you constantly assure it will remain that way. I don’t CARE that you want to keep Terraria in its default condition to “keep it retro”, or whatever head-up-ass theology you’re trying to preserve. There are thousands of ways it could be handled better, and instead you shove your thumb up your ass and refer to things Redigit did wrong from the start as “limitations”, and that EVERYONE ELSE SHOULD SUFFER BECAUSE OF IT.
Please, please, PLEASE stop this console port. Keep Terraria dead — at least then it will stop being made fun of.
